New York trio BATTLES are legends of the experimental rock scene. Fusing explosive polyrhythmic drumming and buzzy guitars fed through mega marshall stacks, Battles are musicians with mindblowing technical proficiency. Their latest album, La Di Da Di, (and first in almost 4 years) came out last week and has the likes of Mojo and Uncut calling the instrumental EP the best of their career.. Battles’ live show has been dubbed one of the most exciting live shows on earth, and likened to ‘being at the centre of an explosion’ (The Guardian).
