Hainanese Bak Chang Making Workshop by Chinatown Singapore

Join us for a special hands-on Bak Chang experience workshop where you’ll learn the art of making “Hainanese” rice dumplings! In this workshop, you will assemble a pyramid-shaped Hainanese rice dumpling filled with savoury meat, mushrooms, chestnuts, and other flavourful ingredients. May Lin from Bak Chang Queen will guide participants through each step of the process, providing helpful tips and insights on making rice dumplings. Participants will bring home the dumpling that they assembled and a cooked dumpling to enjoy at home.
