Amazing Beasts & Botanicals 神木灵兽

The mysterious Sanxingdui (三星堆) excavation brought forth this original creation of dance, music, and stage art installation.

The show reincarnates the Sanxingdui cultural finds of huge bronze masks with protruding eyes, bird-man sculptures, and exquisite ornamental bronze trees into enigmatic dancers and musicians ready to rock the audience in a compelling performance. The show has no linear story but offers intriguing scene fragments that are conjoined into an archaeological jigsaw puzzle.

Conceived by Cultural Medallion Choreographer Angela Liong in collaboration with Composer Chua Jon Lin and sculptor Yeo Chee Kiong and featuring the Morse Percussion.
